Q. It's great to ambitious. Without ambitions nobody achieves anything. The truth is that money requires work. More money requires more work. 5K/month in the US is a quite good salary, and you have to have a good background to earn that.

A. If earnings are your priority, your fastest way is to come up with an innovative idea, that has current demand, develop your product/service, market it, and make money. You don't have to have a degree to do that, though bachelors would certainly help.

Remember, you have to start small. Starting off big is always a way to failure.
